These bikes are getting harder to find in original condition. This 650 has been in my family since it rolled off the sales lot in 1977. It has been well maintained and is a definite blast from the past. This is a list of things replaced and taken care of: swingarm shaft, swingarm bronze bushings, triple tree bronze “wedge” bearings, fork seals, spark plugs, boots, wires “copper”, coils,cam advance plate, arms n springs, points, capacitors, alternator shoes, cleaned reset and rebuilt carbs, new floats, jetted carbs +2 up from stock, K+N cone air filters, stock exhaust shortened and removed 1 baffle layer (trust me not by choice, baffles were rattling), new seals and gaskets for pet cocks and finally a new battery purchased 2 days ago. Now I have original coils and electrical parts, air filter and the stock boxes, turn signals and stems (note in picture rears are shortened), chrome rack, speed and tach. cables, extra set of carbs, clymers manual and other parts. What it needs….tires and ridden to local classic events.
