The seller is offering a 2007 Yamaha XV250 Virago that he says belonged to his deceased son. He says he has been storing the bike inside and running it weekly, but he is ready to let it go. The bike is indicated to have newer tires and battery and a recent oil change.

Launched in the Eighties, Yamahaโ€™s Virago family of V-twin cruisers seemed to capture the look and feel this market wanted better than other Japanese bike makers did at the time. Later, the company added a 250-class Virago that looked and sounded like a bigger bike yet was ideally suited as a first-time bike. The Virago 250โ€™s chrome-accented, air-cooled V-twin resembled a larger-displacement engine, and it gave a growl that sounded better than typical parallel-twin 250s. A 58-inch wheelbase gave the Virago a big-bike look. Even the staggered shorty exhaust pipes captured the big cruiser look better than other rivals. Great styling, light weight, a low 27-inch seat height, and decent midrange torque made the Virago 250 good for beginners, yet also fun to ride for anyone just looking for a light, economical bike for easy cruising.
