Up for sale is my ’78 XS650 Bobber. Too many parts to list but I’ll touch on some of the important ones:
– Upgraded PMA charging / Ignition (these are considered ‘musts’ upgrades on these old bikes – stock charging/ignition systems will eventually leave you stranded!)
– New tires
– Pandemonium exhaust
– Engine has been overhauled and runs like a champ!
– Sparx capacitor (no battery)
– Kick-start only
– Simplified wiring
– Custom, shorty z-bars (if you prefer a different style, I can throw in a set of 15” apes or drag bars)
The bike runs and rides great! I’ve owned several XS bobbers and this is one of the nicer bikes I’ve had. Hate to get rid of it but I’m ready for a new project.
FYI – the bike does not have a front brake installed OR turn signals. I do have a front brake setup, which I will include.
