Original unmolested, low miles, even the original factory stock tires. Amazing paint, great running, everything works, ready to blaze a trail. You could drive this bike right home except I would be wary of the original Gold Seal tires at highway speed, so probably don’t want to do that. With new tires you could drive her home, yep. Bear in mind these original tires are a big deal to guys crave originality. And this bike is as original as they come and it is exceptionally well preserved with near perfect no fade paint on an un-dented, un-dinged gas tank. The tank is in great condition inside & out. This machine feels like a new bike when you ride it. The engine springs to life like it is brand new. Brakes both work properly. Petcock works and carbs were recently tuned and do not leak. Runs excellent, good compression with a nice tight healthy engine. Really nice bright un-faded chrome. The chrome does have a very few scattered pits including an area on the top of the front fender but nothing much to complain about. The chrome sports that nice mirror finish that new bikes have. You have to get real close to find anything of a blemish in the chrome. The original owner did add mud flaps to both fenders in the day. Frame could use a little touch up for typical rust spots. Over all though this bike is just nice, nice, nice. Needs nothing other than new tires to be on the safe side for riding or restore to #1 or #2 condition (I wouldn’t). Overall the bike is an amazing time capsule looking more like it’s two years old than it’s actual age of forty one!
